IMMIGRATION

Our immigration practice is well suited for providing legal counseling and services in virtually every area of immigration and immigration-related law. We are especially well suited for counseling domestic and foreign companies with regard to visas for employment and temporary and permanent residence in the United States. The Firm has expertise in Immigration-related issues such as nonimmigrant treaty trader and treaty investor visas for foreign companies and their employees and immigrant labor certification. We can also give guidance on employer sanctions and unfair immigration related employment practices.

ADMINISTRATIVE

The Firm represents clients in all areas of administrative proceedings before state and federal governmental regulatory agencies, including regulation compliance, permit application and administrative appeals.

CORPORATE

The Firm advises clients in all aspects of commercial activity. Some of the areas of concentration include business formation, corporate and securities law, mergers and acquisitions, service agreements, distribution agreements, licensing agreements, joint ventures/partnership arrangements, financing and security instruments, and bankruptcy. Additionally, our litigation practice represents clients in all aspects of commercial litigation.

INTERNATIONAL

The Firm's international practice helps foreign and domestic clients in their international business endeavors. This includes providing support to domestic clients wishing to establish operations abroad. Additionally, the Firm provides support for foreign clients expanding their business relationships in the United States. Services in this area include the establishment of joint ventures, partnership arrangements, distribution agreements and licensing agreements including retail franchising, product assignment, technology transfer, and manufacturer's agency.

REAL ESTATE

Our real estate practice represents clients in their real estate sales and acquisitions, particularly in the situations involving Texas Deceptive Trade Practice Act (DTPA) and the Federal Real Estate Settlement Procedure Act (RESPA). The Firm also provides legal representation for investors and borrowers in the area of mortgage lending. We can handle disputes arising from complex transactions and offer assistance in conflict resolution and arbitration.
